New Atlantis

New Atlantis

Do you know Second Life's Nautilus continent? It's between the Satori and Corsica continents and for the most part it's just generic Second Life mainland with lots of houses in different clashing styles.

That was not how it was meant to be though. Nautilus was created as a themed area, ancient Greek mythology closely based on the story of Atlantis. The Moles, Linden Lab's semi-domestic cotnent creators, really put their heart into it and did some of their best work there. Crazy Mole in particular. She made some wonderful ahrbour and also a set of six large houses - each in three different colour variants - for the inhabitants to use. It must have broken their little hearts to see how the inhabitants treated their carefully planned work.

It broke our hearts too so we decided to make a "mini-Nautilus" ourselves, a town square with all six of Crazy Moles' residental houses on a sky paltform high above Woodville, Buttermere.

It's a labour of love - and of admiration for one of SL's best prim builders and texture artists - and the houses there aren't really for rent. But of course, if somebody ask, we're always willing to dicuss it.
