Tegan's Bend

Tegan's Bend

Yes, Tegan's Bend does bend. It has no less than three ninety degree corners, bending back on and crossing itself even. But oh well, since you mention it, most of it is ruler straight. Blame the "Bend" part of the name on the constructor's weird sense of humour.

The Tegan part is a tribute to LittleTegan Resident, one of the far too many brilliantly talented content creators who didn't stay in Second Life for long. Little Tegan insisted on racing her car around the street while it was under construction so the name choice was obvious. ;-)

Six of the nine houses are modern open buildings, specially made to give as much interior space as possible on a fairly small parcel. The remaining three, including one splendidly located on the Coniston Hill plateau, are smaller traditional cottages.

Tegan's Bend is connected to Linden Road and Sorita Bay

A few of our neighbours value their privacy so much they have added ban lines across their parcels. Ban lines can of course be rather nasty surprises for innocent travellers and explorers but not at Greater Coniston. We always have warning signs so people know about them and can avoid them.
