Ceockom Street
Who Ceockom is? We don't know. She turned up one day when we were just starting to build Greater Coniston, stayed for a while and made a mess of everything. But we still love her and had to name a street after her.
It's a short one - running from Willow Terrace in Coniston and across the east end of North Keswick - and it has only room for four cottages. Three of them are medium sized ones with a basement. Most tenants furnish the basement as a lovely, cozy living room but there are other possibilities too. Only one thing, if you rent one of them, be careful with the staircase - we call them suicide stairs and with reason. Then again, Second Life avatars are indestructible (unlike Real Life humans) and maybe you like falling down staircases. ;-)
The fourth hosue is a unique little beauty: an old Irish (or maybe French) stone cottage with flagstone floor and thatched roof in the middle of a lovely garden surrounded by ivy covered brick walls. This cottage is our latest addition to the Greater Coniston build and whoever manages to get there first and rent it, is very lucky indeed!
