Northwest Buttermere

Northwest Buttermere

Northwest Buttermere is - as the name says - the northwestern quarter of the Buttermere sim in Second Life.

It is designed as a lush English countryside with lots of greenery and old style stone and brick buildings.

The area is conencted directly to the Linden Road system at Langdale and it has a lovely little port with a GTFO hub.

The houses here include two fairly small cottages, 12 large cottages/small houses and two large family houses.

Northwest Buttermere has three roads:
  • Kimmy's Path is a typical English single line asphalt B road leading from Keswick to the quay. The family homes are located along this road.
  • Moonstone Path is a single line dirt road leading from the Linden Road in Langdale to Kimmy's Path. Four of the medium sized cottages/houses are located there.
  • The Catnap is a narrow side road going through a small hamlet where all the rest of the houses are located.
